About the method

Through touch, breath, and verbal guidance the Grinberg Method® teaches clients to pay attention, increase vitality and allow the body to find its own way to health and wellbeing.

The method is based on the principle that each individual has an innate ability to be well; personal processes are structured to systematically teach a client how to stop mental and physical patterns that limit them.

Working together

A personal process

What do we work on?

Each process has an aim. Examples of aims are: reducing chronic or acute pain, daring to express more love, becoming less controlled by financial stress, or stopping a specific behavior. The process is adapted to you and what you want to change. We will use information from your past and your experiences in the present to go for change.

Your investment

While the practitioner plays an important role, the results are ultimately dependent on how much you, as a client, commit your energy, will, and attention to the process. Your willingness to share with me, to be honest, and to apply changes to your life is what will make a difference.

The more you invest, the more changes you will see in your life.

The basic concepts

Most processes include learning to be less controlled by fear and pain, to expand in challenging situations rather than closing down, and to allow for new experiences rather than expecting what has been before.

More details

Within each process we explore together which obstacles are preventing you from being where you would like to be, and through the body you will learn to access previously inaccessible aspects or qualities that are innate to you.

Cost and commitment

$120 per hour

90 minute initial session $180

60 minute standard session $120

60 minute online session $100

The method is most effective over an extended period of time, rather than a one-off session. Since we are working on multi-layered patterns, discipline and ongoing attention are required to make a lasting change.

The majority of clients experience a shift in the pattern (improvement of a physical symptom, changes in chronic emotional states, or relational shifts) after a few session, but I recommend a minimum of 8 so that we have time to work on various aspects of the pattern, this way the change will be long lasting.

Before you come...

Before you come in, please take the time to read this document, and fill out the form at the end. Once you have completed the form and added your e-signature, please send it to me at info@becomingyourbody.com, you are welcome to include any other information you think would be helpful for me to have before we meet.

Though it is not always the case, we often find ourselves looking to your history in the first session. This is in order to better understand your experience of the present.

Please arrive to the session wearing undergarments you are comfortable being seen in, unless specifically requested, I do not use a sheet to drape.
